EnterpRISEing Youth Plus

The Youth Business Incubator program supports young entrepreneurs, below the age of 30, who would like to start their own business.

This multi-week program focuses on areas such as; developing a business idea, target market identification and writing a business plan. Through the duration of the course, participants are paired with experienced entrepreneurs from the Ottawa region along with participating in a number of networking and workshop events. The completion of the program ends in a business pitch event where the entrepreneurs get to introduce their business ideas to a panel of experts.

Youth Business Incubator is a free course for youth up to the age of 30 who are interested in launching or growing their own business.

The program is an excellent opportunity to learn essential business and financial skills while developing the confidence required to run a successful business.

We are recruiting participants to the program on an ongoing basis and the next cohort usually starts within the next 3 months period. Please contact us for further details.

The course runs for a period of 16 weeks (+ 4 weeks of catch-up buffer) and requires around 7 to 10 hours on a monthly basis (online materials & workshops).

Entrepreneurship Support

Existing entrepreneurs, small business owners and social enterprises looking for a helping hand will find support through the Entrepreneurship Support Program.

The program helps to strengthen their business plan, their strategy and overall operational setup in an accessible workspace that offers networking opportunities. Through this support program East Ottawa’s incubator13 positions itself as an enabler of business, with a support system designed to help remove barriers and create operational efficiencies.
